Turn pages of handwritten notes into one typed, organized doc
Ten pages of scribbled workshop notes become one clean, typed outline in a couple of minutes.
A sketch of what you'll get back.
Your prompt
Fill in your details. Skip any you like.
ChatGPT opens with your prompt already typed in. It's copied too, just in case.
The prompt that gets copied
These are scanned pages of my handwritten notes from [WHAT THE NOTES ARE, e.g. a two-day leadership workshop]. Type them up accurately, keeping my meaning. Then organize them into a clean document with headings, short bullet points and any lists or steps I wrote down. Pull every action item into its own checklist at the top. Where you can't read a word, write (unclear) instead of guessing, and list those spots at the end so I can check them. Don't add ideas that aren't in my notes.
Use Scan in ChatGPT's camera to capture a stack of notebook pages in a row. ChatGPT combines them into one PDF, reads your handwriting and turns it into organized typed notes.
Step by step
- Open the camera in the ChatGPT iPhone app, tap the three-dot menu and select Scan.
- Capture each page in order and let ChatGPT combine them into a single PDF.
- Paste the prompt below with the PDF attached and send it.
- Ask for changes, then copy the result into your notes app or a document.
What you'll get
A typed, organized version of your handwritten pages with an action checklist and a list of words to double-check.
Scan is rolling out in the ChatGPT iPhone app. On other devices, attach a photo of each page instead.
