The plain-English version: The Solo Creators collects very little, never sells your personal data, and offers visitors the right to access, export, or delete what is on file.

Who runs this site

This site is operated by The Solo Creators ("we," "us"). Any reference to "we," "us," or "The Solo Creators" in this policy refers to the operator of thesolocreators.com.

What is collected

• Email address: provided when a visitor opts in to a free download, purchases a product, or replies to a broadcast.
• Purchase data: name, billing country, and email associated with a Studio membership. Payments are processed by Skool, the membership platform; full card details are never seen or stored by The Solo Creators.
• Aggregate site analytics via Google Analytics 4 (Measurement ID G-LVYX62JEY3). GA4 sets a first-party _ga cookie to recognize returning visitors and records page views, session duration, traffic source, and which links are clicked. IP addresses are truncated before storage. No personally identifying information is sent to GA4.
• Traffic-source attribution via UTM Simple. When a visitor arrives from a campaign, ad, or shared link, UTM Simple records the UTM parameters, the referring URL, and any ad-click identifiers (such as Google or Facebook click IDs) and stores them in the browser, so that a later signup can be attributed to the source that drove it.
• Email engagement: opens and link clicks on broadcast emails, recorded by the in-house email system (see "Service providers" below). Used to gauge what content lands and to remove unengaged addresses from the list.

What is NOT collected

• The Solo Creators does not sell or rent your personal data.
• No full card numbers, CVVs, or banking credentials. Payment details are handled entirely by Skool's payment processing and are never stored by The Solo Creators.

How collected data is used

• To deliver requested downloads and purchase confirmations.
• To send periodic broadcasts about new skills, training, and workflows. Every broadcast contains a one-click unsubscribe link, honoured immediately.
• To fulfill orders, issue refunds, and meet tax and bookkeeping obligations.
• To understand which pages and offers convert, in aggregate, so the site can be improved.

Service providers

The Solo Creators uses the following third parties to deliver the site and its services. Each handles a specific slice of data under its own privacy terms:

• Skool (community platform and membership payments): skool.com/privacy
• Amazon Web Services / Amazon SES (transactional + broadcast email infrastructure): aws.amazon.com/privacy
• Listmonk (self-hosted mailing-list software running on AWS)
• Hostinger (web hosting / origin server): hostinger.com/privacy-policy
• Cloudflare (CDN, DDoS protection, DNS): cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
• Google Analytics 4 (aggregate site analytics): policies.google.com/privacy
• UTM Simple (campaign / traffic-source attribution): utmsimple.com
• Shlink (self-hosted link shortener used for email link tracking)

AWS, Hostinger, Cloudflare, and Google maintain SOC 2 (or equivalent) compliance programs. The Solo Creators relies on those programs and does not separately audit them.

International data transfers

The Solo Creators is based in Ontario, Canada. Service providers may store data in the United States, the European Union, or other regions. By using the site or providing an email address, visitors consent to the processing of their data in those jurisdictions under the providers' privacy frameworks.

Your rights

Visitors and customers may request, at any time:

• A report of the data on file for them.
• An export of that data in a portable format.
• Deletion of that data, except for records that must be retained for legal, tax, or accounting purposes (e.g., transaction records, which are kept for the period required by Canadian law).

Cookies

The site uses a small number of first-party cookies. Google Analytics 4 sets cookies (e.g. _ga, _ga_*) to distinguish unique visitors and sessions, and UTM Simple stores campaign-attribution data (UTM parameters and ad-click identifiers) in the browser so a signup can be traced to its source. These can be cleared at any time from the browser. The site also relies on standard server logs (IP, user-agent, request path) from Hostinger and Cloudflare for security and abuse prevention.

Children

The Solo Creators is not intended for users under the age of 16. No data is knowingly collected from minors. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that a minor has provided information, they may request deletion via the contact page.

Changes to this policy

Material changes will be reflected in an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
