How do I find old ideas and projects in my ChatGPT history?

It depends on what you want back. To find one message you half remember, the search in your AI app may be enough. To see the whole picture, AI Rewind reads months of ChatGPT, Claude Code or Codex history on your own computer and shows what you dropped, what keeps coming back, what you said you would do, and what your Claude Code and Codex use would cost at list prices, with the real message behind every finding. It only sees what is still on your machine.

Does my history get uploaded anywhere?

No. It runs entirely on your own computer and nothing is uploaded. The report is one page with no outside connections.

Which AI tools can it read?

Your Claude Code and Codex history, right away. For ChatGPT, request your data export first (Settings, then Data controls, then Export data) and leave the zip it emails you in your Downloads folder.

How far back does it go?

As far as what is still on your machine. Claude Code keeps roughly the last few months, and the report tells you the exact window it covers.

Can I trust what it says?

Every finding opens onto the real message behind it, with its date. Anything it cannot back up with a real message is deleted, and the footer counts how many were dropped.

What does the cost figure mean?

It totals the real token counts your Claude Code and Codex history recorded, at list API prices, split by project and model. On a subscription you are not billed that way. It shows what the work would cost to buy.

What if I finished something offline?

It only knows what is in the archive. It cannot see a decision made on a call or on paper, so "unresolved" means nothing in the archive shows it resolved.

If I cancel, do I keep the skills I installed?

The skills are yours. They install into your own Claude Code, Codex, or other AI tool, so they live on your machine. Cancelling stops your access to future drops, live calls, and community, but anything you installed stays installed.

What if I'm not technical?

The walkthrough videos assume zero technical background. If you can copy-paste, you can install a skill. The community is full of solo creators who are just regular business owners, coaches, and consultants... not engineers.
