Give Every Client Their Own Agent on Buzz

Make a one-person shop feel like a dedicated team. Give each client their own Buzz agent that knows only their brand, voice, and goals, in their own channel, so nothing bleeds between clients.

Key takeaways

  • One client, one channel, one agent that knows only them.
  • A dedicated agent never mixes accounts, because it has only ever worked on one.
  • Fill 4 things per agent: the client's voice, their approved facts, their goals, and their hard limits.
  • Separate channels and agents give clients a privacy win they can feel, which turns a project into a retainer.
  • The only-account experience is a business feature: it's what justifies a higher rate.
  • Keep the relationship human. The agent handles the work; the trust and the hard calls stay yours.

Questions people ask

Is this different from a per-client folder on my desktop?
Yes. This is a live agent in the client's Buzz channel, working with you and the client, not just a local brand folder. The channel is the boundary, and the agent drafts in the client's voice rather than sitting there as static files.
How many clients can I run this way?
As many as you can manage. Each client is a self-contained channel and agent, so adding one never disturbs the others. As the roster grows, a standup or weekly review across your client agents keeps you on top of them all.
What stops an agent from mixing up 2 clients?
Each agent only ever knows one client. There's no other account in its memory to confuse, so it never reaches for the wrong voice or cites the wrong client's facts the way a shared agent does.
What do I tell a client about privacy?
That their work sits in its own channel with its own agent, separated from every other client by design, with every message signed into one audit log. It's structural separation, the kind that earns trust and retainers.
What should I put in each client agent?
4 things: the client's voice and tone, their approved claims and facts, their goals and history with you, and their hard limits or no-go topics. Fill those and the output stops feeling generic and starts feeling made for them.
How long does it take to add a new client?
About 10 minutes: make the channel, drop in the onboarding brief so the agent interviews you about the client's voice, goals, and limits, then run a test draft and tune. A new seat without a new salary.
Do I need to be technical to run this on Buzz today?
Buzz is young. As of early August 2026 it's an open source beta from Block: the desktop app ships, but agents plug in through a CLI harness and mobile apps are still in progress. If that feels too technical, run the same one-agent-per-client pattern in the Claude Code desktop app and bring it to Buzz as it matures.
Does the agent replace the client relationship?
No. It handles the drafting and keeps the accounts cleanly separated. The relationship, the trust, and the hard conversations stay yours. The point is to free your time for the human part that actually retains clients.
